CRASH MATH: Algebra 2
Graphical Characteristics of Functions, Factoring and So Much More!
Service Description
Topic #1 - FUNCTIONS: Students will use knowledge of transformations to covert between equations and the corresponding graphs of functions, and analyze functions and relations graphically including finding the domain and range, intervals in which a function is increasing or decreasing, extrema, zeros, intercepts, end behavior and transformations of a function. Topic #2 - FACTORING AND QUADRATIC FUNCTIONS: Students will factor polynomials completely in one variable using a variety of methods. Students will solve quadratic equations over the set of real complex numbers. Students will recognize the general shape of function families and use knowledge of transformations to covert between equations and the corresponding graphs of functions. Students will investigate and describe the relationships among solutions of an equation, zeros of a function, x-intercepts of a graph and factors of a polynomial expression.
